Q:What’s thedifference between Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click?
A:Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the process of attaining a spot on the first page of google for targeted keywords. This is called "organic" optimization as opposed to "Pay Per Click" where ads are placed at the top or sides of the search results page for targeted keywords. Research has shown that being on the first page organically yields higher results than paying to have your ad displayed. PPC is still a viable form of marketing, just not lead generation.
Q:How long does it take to get to the first page/spot for a Google search term?
A:Every keyword and strategy is different. The higher number of results that appear, the harder it may be to reach the top spot. If you have an existing site that is in good standing with search engines, it may be easier than a brand new site or a site that has been ill-managed thus far.
Q:Can I keep my URL if I hire Snapt to redesign my site?
